Flood Check

The Flood Check Database allows persons to determine whether a property is within a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), also known as a 100-year flood zone or an area with a 1% annual chance of flooding.

Construction within a SFHA requires additional measures to reduce the chance of future flood damage to the property and other properties within the SFHA. More information on these regulations is available here.

If a structure is located within a SFHA, flood insurance is recommended and is often required. More information on flood insurance is available here.

To find out if your property, or a property you may be interested in, is located within a SFHA, enter the street address in the box below. Partial address may be used.
